Amazon goes down

I have absolutely nothing to say about the fact that Amazon went down for what appears to be several hours today. But I did find this quote from CNet, but Greg Sandoval, to be interesting...

Based on last quarter's revenue of $4.13 billion, a full-scale global outage would cost Amazon more than $31,000 per minute on average.

Wow! It puts a whole new spin on the dangers of down time.
